Yay! Can we finally bury Valiant once and for all??? That was the worst version yet.

Yes and I'm not rejoicing contrary to a lie posted online. I would've rather seen them actually promote the books and give them art which was capable of making the stories readable.

Well, in all honesty, I would have too. But it was very apparent that Dark Horse's attempt at the Valiant books were going to be and remain vastly underwhelming. And once it became obvious that this was a weak group of books, poorly promoted, with subpar art, I feel better that it has met its demise than to continue to see comics come out that looked to be exciting no one. Valiant reminds people of a special time and those books by Dark Horse were in no way special. I think Jim Shooter can finally rest easy now and move onto different products. He gave it a good shot but he wasn't armed with the talent he had the first time around.

That still appears to be the plan. df1

I trust it is true, but does anybody have an official link yet saying it is true?

I trust it is true, but does anybody have an official link yet saying it is true? Janet is the source. Dark Horse has not denied it. Artists and people who have been in contact with Dark Horse confirm it also. www.bleedingcool.com/2011/05/07/solar-magnus-turok-dark-horses-gold-key-line-to-be-cancelled/It would be silly to expect Dark Horse to announce it since they can't even tell people when a book is coming out. They also want to maximize sales on anything else that comes out. This will hurt their efforts. df1

Now Chris Warner is supposed to be saying that the line isn't canceled it's now on hiatus.
