The obvious answer is no, of course. I'm another longtime Fantastic Four reader and love the characters I'm familiar with and have been reading for five decades and don't agree with "being politically correct" by typecasting well known characters just for a studio to try and spark some interest in different groups to try and increase the bottom dollar. After all, many people already went to see the first FF movie and I'd imagine many, in not indeed most, of the paying customers were actual Comic Book fans who went to see their childhood heroes depicted on the big screen. I can see an oriental Hogan the grim in Thor...there, in my opinion, you could get away with it...but not with a core group of very familiar heroes. If a Falcon movie was made, I'd go see it...or a Black Panther film...or an Inhumans movie, for that matter, but this is just an obvious attempt to try to score "brownie points" with a politically correct America.

I think it's more of an attempt to piss off Marvel who wants to get their licensing back. df1

I notice the catchphrase on your avatar pic says Unemployed? Why does it say I'm Unemployed?
Well to answer that, I use a corporate level of hiring and promoting as you get further experience at my site. If you've noticed, Defiant1 currently holds the job as president. Hes earned that with all he's contributed here over the years. By comparison, you are just starting here. Compared to him, you start out here as Unemployed. Its up to you how far you go. The only requirement for promotion is posting.
So start posting, see if you can get hired and see how far you can go.

Oh...Thanks for explaining...I thought you knew something I didn't! Sheesh!! Anyway, Marvel (and DC) have a bunch of major motion pictures lined up for the next three years or so and I'm sure these debates will go on and on. Do you know exactly WHY Marvel cancelled the Fantastic Four Line of Comics? Was it just so a feature film could be made as a guarantee of rights? Seems kind of asinine to me.

I'm not really following modern comics anymore. The main reason Marvel cancels titles and starts again is that #1's sell better. It's a cheesy way to manipulate customers into buying more comics.

This list really deserved it's own thread. Maybe our admin can move it to it's own thread when he gets a chance. Nice list.

Nice list. df1 I would like to do just that but it's more of a pain to pull off from my phone. Another reason I want internet at the house because if I have it at home I can spend a lot more time working on this board.
