On the other hand, my losers are I have around 200 copies of Batman 655, and 175 copies of Young Avengers 1 I'm still sitting on. I like both of those books to do something in the future, however. Batman 655 is the first appearance of Batman's son Damien. Grant Morrison just stated during a recent interview he's going to really be using that character a lot and developing him. Young Avengers 1 is the first Hulkling, who seems to continue to grow in importance in the Marvel Universe.

The old way of doing comic business would allow you to move those 200 copies through distribution changes like the one comickings was involved in. Today it's much more appropriate to buy a single copy of something you like. Therefore if the book hits big - hey, little money on the side. If it doesn't, great book in your collection.

I kinda like having all those copies of those books, though, since I believe sooner or later they'll kick in. I bought 50 each All-Star Batman 1s and for awhile couldn't sell them. Now they've become steady sellers for me at good prices, and I feel that will happen with Batman 655 and Young avengers 1 at some point as well.
