I came accross a sci-fi book published by Ace called Our Man In Space, so I'm going to change the name. I'm thinking of calling it Hunter Green, which is the name of the Captain piloting the ship. Page 2 is finished. I'm adding it to the Surprising Comics site today.

It looks like the artwork on our first four page story may be finished today. I've downloaded the first three pages of the story to the Hunter Green page on the site.

My new avatar is taken from a piece of artwork for the Hunter Green story I'm working on for Surprising. It's not showing up on my end. When you sent me a link to it, it said "page cannot be found". If you cant get it to work right, email it to me and I'll get it on there.

Okay, my new avatar is taken from artwork by the big guy himself, the chairman of the board, gowaltrip! It's from the comic he's working on for Surprising Comics. The character you see on my avatar is called The Maniacal Manster. For more on the Manster go to the Manster page located here. surprisingcomics.com/THE_MANSTER.html

Despite my spendthrift ways I'm having a logo professionally designed for Surprising Comics. It should be completed shortly.

On my behalf I would like to say that these drawing are concept practice drawings Ive done in the past weeks. The final product is still in doubt. I will say, I plan on putting a lot more into the pages than I put into these posted pictures. Ive been working on just 1 page way too long now and this is just a boring regular people sequence. When I actually get around to drawing the Manster in a real page, I want to work painstakingly on it and hope it comes out a lot better than this. Regardless, Im glad to be doing something. Even though I dont feel worthy to draw a comic, I have to admit I want to do it. And with nothing really positive happening for me these days, this is something that maybe I will look back on as a bright spot. At least that is the hope.

You sound like other artists at one point in their learning curve that went on to be pros.
