And I'll repost this picture any opportunity I get... I've seen this picture before. But feel free to find reasons to bring it back up.

Some of the funniest material I've ever read was produced by Ivan Brunetti. I tracked down a site where he was selling artwork. The pieces I wanted were already sold, but I got a couple of other ones that I'm quite pleased with. His stuff is very demented. Haw! Page 10 I find myself wanting to buy comics like this and don't generally get around to it when I go comic hunting. And then when I see examples like this (which are awesome I might add), I find myself wishing I would hunt down stuff like this next time I get around comics. But then I get around comics and don't even think of stuff like this. This is one of those kind of comics that almost has to find me while I flip through a box and have a price tag that makes me think "by golly, I think I'll buy this". Needless to say, I like these pieces you have.

This speaks for itself. Steve Ditko & Gonzalo Mayo Shadowman #6 Page 16 I did not hesitate to buy this. I like Mayo's inking. I think he makes the art look better and you still get a lot of the classic elements Ditko puts in his work. df1 I agree with you and what a fortunate lot it is to own some Ditko. Especially a piece like this. I envy you owning this.

Thanks for sharing the original art DF1. I would comment on each and every piece, but I would probably get redundant. Even still, I love seeing what everyone has in their collection. Whether it is comics or original art. I have always found myself wanting to break further into original art, but I think it's something I would concentrate on only if I had a lot more expendable cash. I think over the years, my thoughts on this are slowly changing and I would like to think eventually at some time in my life I'll dive a lot deeper into original art. As it is, I have about 5 pages today and none of them would I consider very desirable. So when I see others with good stuff, it makes me want to do it even more. Again, thanks for the visuals. Keep em coming if you have more!

And I'll repost this picture any opportunity I get... I've seen this picture before. But feel free to find reasons to bring it back up. I like it for the same two reasons you like it. The irony is that the year I bought that, I told myself I'm not going to be shallow and sit around and chat with the models and actresses. I was steering clear of celebrity row. I realized I had screwed up as soon as Olivia sent me to go find the Sandra for an autograph. This might have been the same year I was discussing Bonny Doon raspberry wine with Aria Giovanni. I always converse so easily with hot looking women. One year I was limping and Trish Stratus spoke up and asked me if I was okay when I passed her in an aisle. This was before she bulked up and she looked fine. There are exceptions though. I thought the hot looking girl from Serenity was a bitch. Linda Gray annoyed the shit out of me. I should have chatted with Alley Baggett one year, but opted not to. df1

I have the Starbucks Lawsuit cover that Kieron had to quit using by court order on LCD #0. All three funny as s#!t and very off-color humor. df1

Keep em coming if you have more! I like art samples to see how the pros really do it. I don't advise amassing a huge collection. Get a few samples from artists you really admire. I think the one piece I regret not getting was a Manara piece. It was an ad piece and it was going to cost in the neighborhood of a grand. I talked myself out of it because that is a lot of money. df1

To me, that even a good price for anything Gonzalo Mayo did. df1
