I'm not really worried about it one way or another. I'm just going to leave it open and whatever happens with it happens.

Repost...
A guy I work with wanted me to stop by his house and check out some comics that his wife acquired somehow. I did so as a favor to him. Upon reviewing the comics, there were right at 200 comics. The date range was from 1967 to maybe the early 2000's or so. Overall, I saw nothing or great value. As always, condition was a problem. There were 2 Spawn comics that are sold with toys. There were multiple creases with color break on the spine. The best stuff in the lot was Ms. Marvel #1 & Nova #1 form the 70's. There was a Nova #12 that has the Spider-man crossover. There was a Western Ghost Rider #1-5 or so. I don't have those, so they interested me. A few middle run issues of Omega the Unknown. There was a significant run of the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider vol. 1, but all higher numbers. There was an Amalgam comic that I thought was interesting. I thought there were duplicates of the same issue at first, but I immediately noticed one copy had a bar code and one didn't. There was a lot of stuff I consider worthless crap such as a dozen issues of Arion. The old Marvel comics were the only thing I would have valued more than a dime. I know a store would try to sell them for more, but I didn't want to make an offer or get his hopes up too high. He says his wife wasn't looking to sell them. Eh! I wasted a lot of money on gas driving 40 miles to see them. Overall a gesture of kindness and a waste of time. It's the first comics find in the rough that I've looked at in awhile. Usually the comics people ask me to look at are clearly dealer overstock.

I was going to watch this this morning and it says this video has been removed by user.
Thats one thing I hate about YouTube. You cant always predict which videos will stay or not.

I was going to watch this this morning and it says this video has been removed by user. Thats one thing I hate about YouTube. You cant always predict which videos will stay or not. Evidently there are about 6 pretty long scenes from the upcoming Avengers movie that a fan had edited together into one clip. 1) A scene with Black Widow kicking ass 2) A scene with Thor and Capt. American battling Loki's "Army" 3) A scene with Nick Fury talking to a Shield agent about an (Asgardian?) object of great power that could destroy the world if they don't contain the power. 4) Nick Fury chatting with Loki who is imprisoned in a cage built for the Hulk. 5) Tony Stark chatting with Loki and telling him he's screwed up by pissing off the Avengers. 6) A pretty kick ass scene with Thor vs. Iron Man. Thor zaps Iron Man with a lightning bolt. Tony looks concerned until his armor tell him it's charged to 400% capacity. He smiles and plows into Thor breaking trees and plowing up the side of a cliff with Thors back pressed against it. Thor plows Iron Man back breaking more trees in the process. In a face to face position, Thor starts crushing Iron Man's wrist in his grip. Iron Man does a repulsor ray in Thor's face. Thor knocks him back about 20 feet. Iron Man starts to plow into him again. It seems like there is another scene with Hulk, but that may have been in another video. That scene was shorter. df1

That was pretty sweet! Now all we need is the Destroyer and we'd have something!

Saw Battleshit... I mean Battleship last week. The movie was just childish. It was like a bad remake of Independence Day.
Saw Men in Black 3 last night. I was bored. It's basically the same stuff from the first movie with a little time travel twist thrown in. The best part of the movie is seeing Nicole Scherzinger.

Neither of those movies interested me too much. I think I could have stand to have seen MIB3 but only if someone made me go to the movies and it was like one of the best choices of the night. I was thinking the time travel part of it might have made it a bit interesting. But the rest of it looked rehashed and like you've been there before. At least that is what I was getting off of it from the previews. I've seen very little of Battleship previews and what I have has obviously been forgettable. I can remember having no desire at all to see that. I'm glad you have confirmed both as being something to be missed.

Battleshit has well done special effects, but it's pure suffering to watch the loner, moron, and outcast lead star get forced to join the millitary and then redeem himself to Liam Neeson who was a peripheral character at best. The weapons the aliens have are destructive, but the good guys win too easily. MIB3 is 90% the same movie as the first. I thought the story was very slow to evolve. The time shift element wasn't bad, but it was still a thin plot. df1
