You should bring the video here using our handy dandy Youtube tool. (Training: Notice Youtube videos have an equals sign and then a number or number and letters following it when you look at the address bar the clip is playing from. Copy only the sequence of numbers and letters past the equals sign and bring into a post here. Paste the number into a new message. Then highlight the sequence and press the "YouTube" button above the smilies!) Like so.... You've just brought the video here! If you further need to see what I done, hit the quote button like you were going to respond and look at the clip and see the "Youtube" tags surround the numbers. As for the trailer....I have to say, it looks pretty hot and like another potential winner. Iron Man 1 was one of the best comic movies I ever seen. They didn't dumb it down like so many others do. That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing this. I'll probably wait until it comes out on Netflix, so probably around Xmas I'll get to see it. You guys can fill me in if it lives up to the hype. The glimpse I got didn't make me wild about Whiplash's uniform. I totally dug the whiplashes he had but the suit itself I didn't much care for. I know they try and keep it realistic looking, but sometimes I want them to stay truer to what you see in comics. I always thought the X-Men movies were watered down because of their normal looking costumes. I mean, Magneto just looks pathetic to me in comparison to the comic that is. That is the only complaint I had seeing the trailer. The rest of it looked very interesting and exciting. Looks like it would keep me easily entertained throughout the whole movie just like the last one did. If not more... I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks for the video posting tip. Did you notice the name of Whiplashes character in the Film? IVAN DANKO. That is the name of the Crimson Dynamo in the comic. Maybe he will morph into that characteras time goes on. All I know is I want that damn awesome briefcase Armor.

I'll see the movie.
But i really don't like that Iron Man has become an "a partying guy" and everyone knows who he is .

I didn't notice the deal with the name, good catch! Does anyone know the true first appearance of Whiplash? I do think that Iron Man looked sick. This is the perfect character for a transition to movies.

Man I think I have watched this trailer at least 50 times now. It has me amped! What do you guys think? It's difficult for me to get over RDJr's role in Less Than Zero and then recall his subsequent cocaine addiction. I think he's a very talented actor, but he creeps me out. I think Tropic Thunder had an uncanny performance by him, but for the most part he isn't an actor I like watching. From a technical standpoint the 1st movie lives up. I just didn't like the over the top narcissism that is present in the movie. The Tony Stark I read in the comics was not that way. I don't want every Marvel character having the Spider-Man wisecracking personality from the comics. I think Gwyneth Paltrow did a great job in the 1st movie, but she too is an actress I don't like watching on the screen. I expect the 2nd movie to be as good or better than the 1st, but all the things I didn't like from the first movie are carrying over, so it doesn't excite me as much as it does others. defiant1

It won't affect the quality of the movie, but I think it was unnecessary. df1

I think Tony has always been a bit of a Narrsisist. You would have to be to be someone like him. Additionally, with the films you don't have the luxury of spending 10-15 years building his character. He has to go through a complete arc in every film and he has to grow as a character. What they are doing is showing his continuing dependance on alcohol and the pressures of being both Iron Man and a weapons manufacturer. Third film will likely have a good bit of Demon in a Bottle within the narrative. I agree sort of about everyone knowing who he is, but that changes over 20 years ago in the comics so really its not a big deal. also there are probably some elements of Ultimate Iron Man mixed in to his personality.
Waltrip I think it was IM #34 or there abouts that Whiplash appeared.
I don't care for G. Paltrow either. She just never did much for me.
I do however Like robert Downey. That guy is a solid actor. I don't give two shits about his personal failings. He rocked in Scwnner darkly. He was incredible in Tropic Thunder with his parody of Russel Crow going overboard to play a black man in the film. (I assume you knew he was lampooning Russel Crow) And he was damn good in the new Sherlock Holmes film. In fact I look forward to the sequal of that.

(I assume you knew he was lampooning Russel Crow) Well, in "Less Than Zero", he played a coke addict that sunk so low he was sucking dick for the drug. Then to find out he was actually a coke addict... I don't lose that mental image of him. And yeah... it was obvious in Tropic Thunder. Great movie. df1
