This is the new animated feature from DC Comics. It is an adaptation of the Judd Winnik story that brought back Jason Todd. With the exception of Wonder Woman, this is probably the bloodiest and most brutal animated films yet.
Just to refresh your memories, Jason Todd is the second Robin. The one who was beaten to death with a crowbar by the Joker in the now classic Death in the Family storyline. The film starts off with his murder and sets the tone for the rest of the feature. Nightwing plays a prominent role in this film and is well voiced by Neil Patrick Harris. The Joker is being played by someone I am not familiar with. He is a good mix of Heath Ledger and Mark Hammil menace.
Bottom Line; DC is knocking it out of the park with Animation. This is solid entertainment and well worth the rental. 4.5/5

Nope, and I don't any plans to do so in the near future.
I hated Jason Todd when he was Robin and loved the way he died and I certianly don't support his return from the dead. Now if it was Batman: A Death in the Family I would buy it.

Yeah its been out for a couple of weeks. I understand your position cyberstrike. I was never a huge fan of Jason Todd myself. But, this is really a quality film. Also, the beginning of the film IS Death in the family. so you get about 15 minutes of that story.
