Not really excited about the show. I only went because Neal Adams was there, but I was in so much pain I could bring myself to stand in line for an autograph. He did sign a hardcover & 2 sketch books I bought through Jason. Dragon Con Program Book The Continuity booth... Defiant1

Sorry to hear about the pain, hope you feel better soon. The pictures are cool though. Did you get any of the books on the table? That show looks kinda cramped. Its hard to imagine, but maybe that picture is deceiving, but it looks smaller than Richmond shows. It reminds me of when I used to do a few shows at this hotel in Virginia Beach and they had this little banquet room to do conventions in. In any event, it looks like it was a cool time. I'm kind of wishing there was a nearby show around here. I've been in a comic mood lately. It's a good thing.

I'm kind of wishing there was a nearby show around here. I've been in a comic mood lately. It's a good thing. Dragon Con isn't cramped. It's too damn spread out. It encompasses 4 hotels. I had to walk about 5 blocks to register at the Sheraton. Two blocks back at the Hilton, they have gaming and all the celebrities. Lexa Doig wasn't there yet, but she's supposed to be there Saturday. I did see Tia Carerre, Marina Sirtis, Claudia Christian, Morena Baccarin, Kelly LeBrock (much bigger now) in passing. The dealer rooms (more than one) is in the Marriot. The Hyatt has the art show which seems smaller this year and the comic artists alley is bigger than when I went last. Overall I was impressed with switch & increase in comic book talent. They used to always rotate Peter David & Steranko as the big guests. I was sick of seeing them both. Getting Neal Adams, J. Scott Cambell, George Perez, Mark Bagley, Kelly Jones, Mike Mignola... these are names I haven't seen in awhile if ever. Linsner was there. Peter David is still there. I don't think I saw but about 4 comic dealers... 6 at most. T-Shirt vendors were everywhere. The "tracks" which cover everything from Belly dancing. Hacking, origami, writer's workshops, film rooms.... those are scattered across it appeared three hotels. The hotels were all booked. I barely found parking. I just got tired of walking. Dragon Con is a hell of a lot bigger than Heroes Con, but the focus is pop culture, not comics. Defiant1

Bought two of these from Jason Adams... 4 Adams' #nn (SDCC Variant) It is signed by Neal Adams, Josh Adams, Joel Adams & Jason Adams. I believe Jason said it was limited to 400 copies. They made one with a B&W cover, but none were at the show. I was going to buy it also. Defiant1

I figured Dragon Con was bigger than that, but the pictures were obviously deceiving me. Thanks for posting them and the info.
