Seems like this movie has been coming out for 3 or 4 years now. Now that it is finally here, is it worth going to see? I hear it's great for special effects, but is it more than just an eye candy video gamers experience?

I liked the orginal Tron (it's not the greatest movie I ever seen but nor is it the worse) I think that I'll catch it on Blu-Ray/DVD.
Personally I'm still hoping for a sequal to The Last Starfighter. LOL. ;D
Also video games are far more than eye candy.

I thought the first Tron movie was stupid and I have no interest in seeing any of it revisited. Is Disney going to remake their horrid movie "The Black Hole"?

I dont think I ever saw the original movie, but I played the hell out of the original video game. Seemed cool at the time, but now I can think back and picture how truly cheesy it really was.

I prefer the Black hole over Tron any day. The new one has not gotten good reviews and the first one doesn't hold up.
I will spend my money on True Grit.
defient 1, yes they are doing a remake of the Black hole. this one will have more accurate science also.

Conceptually both films were good. Black hole I enjoyed because it was darker in tone. which -cartoon faced robots- aside, was pretty decent. The robots are just indicitive of disney trying to keep that kiddy appeal and make toys.
but in all fairness, I did sculpt a pretty accurate version of the dented up one that helped the main characters .
