I have gotten a total of about 3 hours of sleep over the last two nights. Starcraft 2 (for PC) marathon at my buddies house first, then somehow went on a 14 hour Fallout: Vegas (xbox 360)spree.
Only 7 more hours of work and I can go home and take a nap...lol

I play. I am on XBOX. I have a website, www.fcmaps.net which is a ubisoft sanctioned site that is built around building multiplayer maps for the FAR CRY games. I have over 4000 members worldwide. Haven't played Vegas yet, but love Fallout 2

I'm playing on both the Xbox 360 and PS3, Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 (I'm a HUGE Bioware fan and I've yet to play a bad Bioware game*) and waiting for Dragon Age II and Mass Effect 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Batman: Arkham City.
I got Fallout 3 on both platforms and I haven't gotten Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II yet.
I've got andplayed demos for several PS3 and Xbox 360 games: Enslaved: Journey to the West, Uncharted, Uncharted II, Metal Gear Solid 4, Infamous, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Castlevania: Lord of Shadow, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, Shadow Complex, UNO, Heavy Rain, and Mass Effect 2.
On the PS3 I'm also playing X-Men: The Arcade Game and PS One Classic: Final Fantasy VII on the Xbox 360 and I'm playing Hydro Thunder: Hurricane.
*I haven't played every Bioware game[/color]

oh man...Far Cry was awesome in every way...when will they put out the next one? I loved map editor..and split screen play. That game should have had a bigger impact on the gaming industry than it did. I tried to check out the site but it is blocked ;(
I have been waiting for this for such a long time. Elder Scrolls IV was the first xbox 360 game I had...and one of my favorite games of all time. Its hard to complain about high game prices when its for 180 hours of gaming time.
I almost bought a PS3 when the trailers for Dragon age were all over the place.
I was disappointed when Fallout 3 only had 20 lvls unless you downloaded content. It irked me that you couldnt get all the perks...I expected more from the creators of oblivion...New Vegas has 30 lvls but still not going to be enough to get all the perks. Plus, they make you use a perk to turn on game gore...why do I need to sacerfice my characters abilities to get game gore turned on?
Fallout: New Vegas is full of glitches and poor game flow. I really think it was hurried...and I am hoping they did it so they could devote the full team to the next Elder Scrolls.
My game glitched yesterday so that every time I revist an area all the dead corpses are still there and still have all their weapons even though I already looted them earlier. Needless to say, I am a rich man.
The game flow also needs help. I start a lot of side quests and am unable to complete them because I am not lvld up enough to get through a locked door or something insanly stupid like that. If I spend an hour on a side quest I am not going to want to go back later in the game just to get through the door and complete it.
I have the new Fable waiting for me when I am done with New Vegas.

I think in my very original days of having this board up and running, I had a video game section to the board. This is when I tried to be broad in scope with the launch of Comic Crack's original name "Gotta Start Somewhere". Some of you may not remember or know this, but my board didn't originally start out as a Comic board. It was sorta trying to be a Seinfeld of Message Boards. And comics was just a part of it.
Very early in my days defiant1 pointed out to me that people don't search the net for just anything or nothing, they search for specific items and recommended I change my focus. I have to say that was good advice and I morphed the board into what it is today, a board that mainly focuses about comic books. I'm glad I did that change. I've always felt we were free to talk about anything and we often do. It's just the main scope and focus of the board is indeed comics.
When I was revamping the boards, I took the Video Game section down. Occasionally someone talks about them. I think there is enough gamers here that I can make it a sub board down towards the bottom of the main page if you guys want it. I'll make the moves to put it up and you guys can role with it. I just don't ever want my board to be more about video games than it is about comics. I'm all for it being a side discussion though.
So, if you guys want me to make it a sub board. Go ahead and say so and I'll make it a sub area. Otherwise, you guys can continue to talk about it in spurts whenever the mood hits you and I'll just leave things as it is.
Let me know...

@g,
Thanks for the consideration but I think you may be right about it detracting from the main concept of the board. I cant speak for anyone else but I would be happy to leave things as they are. I really dont play too much anymore...i spend most of my days chasing my 1 y/o daughter around the house trying to stop her from putting things in her mouth, tearing things down from shelves, and emptying drawers.

Hey Joe, sorry I gave the wrong address. We changed it from .net to .com and had both running. I guess the .net finally expired. Here is the correct address. www.fcmaps.comFC2 did not have as big an impact as it should because the devs made some major mistakes in regards to gameplay and glitches that they for some reason decided not to fix. I am glad you liked the Editor. The one for FC2, I was involved in the developement of and even helped write an Educational book that revolved around both the Editor and how to build strategic gameplay environments. I have about 20 games I am playing, whenever I have time that is.

I've played Fable III and it's OK, but the villain is extremely lame. If you have senstive polictal beliefs you best rent it before buying. My gripe with both The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 were that that main story lines were incredibly dull. One time I played Oblivion I did the main quest just to get it out of the way. The side quests were more far more and interesting. Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age: Origins are truely GREAT games and each has a sequal coming out this year.

Wow, nice site...think its time to dig FC out again Ill have to check out mass effect...I have heard so much about it and yet for some reason have never played it. My favorite oblivon mission was where you infiltrate the blackwater company to see what they are doing. You drink some stuff and go slaughter a bunch of trolls...only when the stuff you drank wears off you realize you just slaughtered a villiage of people...not trolls..lol
