If you buy 25 copies of a 32 page comic, your cost on each is $3.84. If you buy 999 of the same comic, it's $3.64 each. Services like this are convenient, but they are not a good deal if you plan on reselling the product. df1

It's just one more site than we currently had about the subject. I was looking at a 24 page comic and 25 copies were like $82 which I didn't think was bad. I don't think I'm thinking in terms of reselling at this point. I'm thinking in terms of just accomplishment. I personally wouldn't mind having say 100 issues of anything I might one day get done. I figure I would keep about 10 - 20 myself and then spread the rest around. If there ever happened to be more issues, I'd keep shooting for around 100 to keep this pattern going. If suddenly there was more to it and the needs to grow it become more substantial, it would be cool to say there are only 100 copies of the original comics out there.
Its all just pipe dream stuff really and yes, as far as a business perspective, its not realistic. If it was business I'd look for something a lot more competitive. At this point, its hobby and wanting a sense of accomplishment. This kind of puts it a bit in perspective. If the desire is there to get it done, it wouldn't be that hard to have them printed.
I'd welcome any other sites people discover like this here.

Comixpress allows you to upload your info and they place it in their store and you get a cut when one sells. Not sure about Lulu although I have an account with them, but I rarely ever log in. df1
