I have to admit to not watching much of this race at all. I spent far more time watching the Cowboys-Redskins football game. And with good reason. 1st, Im a die-hard Redskins fan and the Dallas game is not only the biggest, it was exciting. Even if we came up short. Plus, my boy did not qualify, which always bums me out from watching (got to have something to cheer about). And 3) The Chase was pretty much over before the race began. All you could really do is hope Johnson would have some problems so it would give some drama to this finishing race. But, it just never even came close to happening. Further, the racing action was dry from what I saw. Im noticing a trend. The Chasers finish up front and the non-Chasers never compete at all once the Chase begins. That is a HUGE problem for this sport. If you notice, the top 8 finishers was Chase drivers. I seem to have noticed this week after week. It just hasnt been fun to watch lately. And a new season is good for almost everybody involved. Its also kind of hard to believe Earnhardt Jr just raced his last race in the Budweiser #8. It sure is going to be different next year seeing him in a new car and a new Firesuit...ect. Should be interesting to watch. All in all, from what I seen, this race blew chunks. I would rate it a 1, but I didnt see 80% of. What I did see was lame. 2 out of 5 stars
