What comic related moment from 2009 stands out as your worst? Was it a disappointing story? Was it a comic you bought and found out it wasn't what you thought or was hoping it would be? Was it an event you attended? Was it an auction you lost? Or was it a comic you didn't get and went back for and it was gone? The choice is yours. If you collect comics, along the way there always is moments of disappointment. What was your worst comic moment of 2009?

So it was my best and worst moment all rolled into one. I have no plans to go next year. df1

My worst comic related moment was how little time I got to spend at Heroes Con. Being I had a job interview that morning which ultimately made my round trip about 100 miles longer and shaved more than a couple of hours off my show time, I traveled nearly 400 miles to spend roughly 4 hrs at the Heroes Con show.
This show seemed a lot better than 2008, I just wasn't able to capitalize on it. And knowing I only had 4 hrs to purchase any comics I wanted, I felt I left a lot of good books behind that I could have obtained.

It's never cool to go to a show and not have money to spend. It's almost like you rely more on the experience of going to enjoy it than actually getting comics. And usually, you usually have to get comics to actually enjoy the experience.

There was nothing interesting and I would have wasted it on stuff that had no meaning to me. Defiant1

My worst comic moment for 09 was when I bought some comics off a guy and found out that two of the Darkness issues that came with it were in Spanish. My own fault for not checking them out better.
