The title pretty much says it all. What in your opinion was the one comic book that was the best comic book all year? Yes, hype CAN be a factor. So can resale value and heat. But it doesn't have to be. It can be a comic no one hardly even knows. The only criteria it has to have is it had to came out in 2010 and it had to have impact in some way. Either with the comic's community, resale value or just total impact upon you. What do you think was the best single comic issue of 2010.

This and comic series of the year always seem like tough choices. Any nominees? I've been trying to think of a real standout book. Either an amazingly nice book with well crafted work or a book that caught the collector fanbase by storm. I don't recall anything that blew the comic fanbase away, so I'm thinking it just has to be a well made comic, but surprisingly I can't hardly think of anything.....

Come on now! What was the biggest buzz book of 2010???
Don't make me vote for something like Skullkickers or Morning Glories. There has to be some legitimate candidates!

My response should have been in series of the year.
SHIELD is a good call for single issue.

According to comicchron.com, Avengers #1 from May of this year had the highest number of 163,867 estimated sales. Which to me is kind of a shocker, because I didn't get one and really I didn't hear much of any buzz about it. And this is one of those cases where I think the JRJR cover sucked.
But copies sold is exactly criteria for best comic of 2010.
