Between the two I like the Halloween Comic Ashcan better. That cover ain't bad. You know, I know their lineup was mostly mindless stuff, but I always had a small thing for Chaos comics. More for their look than anything. I never actually "read" pretty much anything they did, but I kind of dug their styling. I think one of the worst things that happened to them is when Steven Hughes died. Of course, they were already floundering by then, but he had their signature look down. To me Chaos Comics is basically Pulido and Hughes.
The Hellraiser comic doesn't do much for me because its just solid black with logos on it. I understand being signed by Clive Barker is cool but I never really cared for solid colored with no drawings on covers. To me it was a cheap shot. Like it ripped us off a cover. Even though Solar #10 is one of the Valiant greats, it never appealed to me as much for having a solid black cover. Just me I guess. Id rather have something on a cover than nothing. Thats why the Halloween Ashcan appeals to me more.

The funny thing about the Hellraiser book is that is actually the back cover. The front cover is a virgin cover. It looks like this.

No offense, but I've got to say I don't care for that at all.
I dig the Halloween Ashcan cover a lot more.

I'm not saying the cover is great by any means but I do like having his sig on one of his most famous works.
