Well, either way this one goes, I have to be proud of my Red Sox for taking it to 7 games after being down 3-1. Im hoping the home crowd can pull them through, but I have to admit to a big fear on who is pitching tonight. I havent seen much from this guy to warranty playing when everything is on the line in game 7. Id rather have Beckett on 3 days rest. But, its not going to happen. So, the only way I see the Red Sox winning is to pound the ball like they did last night and have a high score. A low scoring game and I feel the Indians win. I dont think Matsuzaka or however you say the name is going to keep runs from scoring. brotherj, I know we know how each other feels and I know we are going to cheer for our teams. But as stated before, if the Indians win...congrats and Im pulling for them in the Series. If not...well, Im going to be happier with that outcome because I want my team to win. In any event. I think the ALCS will be far more exciting than the World Series regardless of who gets in.

Well brotherj, I know you dont want to see me write anything but to rub it in. Im not trying to. I really thought you guys had us. Especially when you guys went up 2-1. Then I really thought you had us at 3-1. But, I didnt quit hoping. I figured if my team could get back to Boston...we had a chance. But I still expected you guys to win at least 1 of the remaining 3 even if we did get back to Boston. You guys already won 1 in Boston with game 2. So I knew you guys could do it. Hey man, of coarse I am happy how it turned out, but I also felt bad for the Indians and their fans. I know the feeling bigtime...trust me. Can anyone say....Bill Buckner 1986? Bucky Dent 1978? Giambi 2003? They all hurt. Especially...for me...2003. I hurt over 1986 too. But that was the Mets and yes it hurt being so close...so close. But, nothing hurt like losing to the Yankees in 2003. That one hurt real bad. And 1978...I was 11 years old and Bucky Dent made me feel the curse for the 1st time. Lets not forget 1975. Although I was only 8 then and considered myself a Red fan (they won). My dad was a Red Sox fan and never seen them win it all. The best thing I can say is...as painful as 2003 was...2004 was the payoff. Down 3 games to 0 and Sheffield making the statement "They dont want it bad enough". We came back and become the 1st team to come back from a 3-0 deficit and go on to win for the 1st time in 86 years! I believe the Indians have that in them. They was a damn good team. Perhaps playoff experience might have done got them because so few had it. But now they have it. I think that team will win it soon. And if they are in it and my boys arent Im going to cheer them on. The only other team I might cheer against them if it wasnt my Red Sox is the Cubs. Because nobody has had it worse than Cubs fans. I think the Tribe's time is coming. I didnt know it in 2003...but 2004 was the sweetest year!

I didnt know it in 2003...but 2004 was the sweetest year! To be honest, I wasn't too surprised. I turned on the game briefly last night, saw the score was 2-0 and that "Dice K" seemed to be bewildering the Indians' hitters and I knew they were in for a long night. Don't be too upset for me, I'm not really a huge Indians fan these days. My Indians teams were those from 1989 to the late 90's. After the '95 and '97 teams lost, I knew that incarnation of the Indians just didn't have the pitching. Once I moved to Milwaukee in '98, I pretty much became a Brewers fan since my wife was one and we lived so close to the ballpark. I was more happy about the Cubs being eliminated early than by anything else in this postseason, since they won the NL Central instead of the Brewers.
