Good luck. There has been no activity here in a long time. I'm assuming the board creator gave up comics.

Before I was booted off Facebook, I looked you up on Facebook to do a check to see if you re okay. I wasn't entirely sure, but it did appear you had sold your collection. I think you made the right decision. Maybe you can start shopping at garage sales and antique shops and start buying back things that interest you? Finding stuff is more fun than just sitting on it.

Yeah life has been strange and my comics have been more of an anchor that's been hard to bring around and find storage for. I almost lost them completely with nothing in return a couple of years ago. Selling them was painful but I was in a bind and out of options. I sold them for a moderate price, well below what it was worth. More upset over the sentimental value. Collected since 1978. And numerous older books going all the way back to the 1940s. Hard to let that go. I was at a flea market a week ago and seen some bronze age books that caught my eye. Some old Captain Marvel's were catching my eye but they were non key non Thanos, no Starlin issues. I flip em over and see like $10.50 on each of them. I'm like nah. And kept going. It'll be hard to start over if I ever do. If I do it'll just be pieces and not collections.

Prices are stupid now. Lower grade stuff that I could buy for $75 are now over $200. There's supposed to be a 1 day show in August. I may go, but I'm thinking it'll be just walking the room and leaving.
