I need to ask. When I think about it. It's been a long time since I remember a kid wanting comic books or bugging his mom to take him or her to a comic store. In fact it's rare a see an adult wanting them either. Is it just a bunch of us old timers holding on? I still see a few comic stores and conventions still has it but is there any new blood at all or is it just a bunch of us old timers holding on for nostalgia sake?

The last time I saw a kid wanting a comic was 20 years ago. The kid was begging his mom to buy it for him, but the mom looked at the price, said it was too expensive and walked out. BTW, the mom had left the kid in the store by himself for an hour. The store manager was evidently her babysitter while she went to other stores. Then she comes back to pick up the kid and buys nothing.
I work with some adults that buy comics, but they are older like us. It's childhood nostalgia.
