Saw a trailer for U2 3D at the theater last night. It looked cool. 3D effects looked great.

So basically it is a U2 concert shot in 3-D and when you go you wear the 3-D glasses to get a more realistic experience? I seen someone left a review saying it was great, but I would think this movie mainly applies to U2 fans and not much broader than that. Which they have tons of fans. But I'm sort of a so-so fan (Some of their songs I love and others I could blow my car radio up on). Is being in 3-D enough or is there something else to it?

They played the trailer in front of Beowulf 3D. The 3D effect is cool. The U2 trailer was the best part of the movie experience for me. Beowulf sucked. It's 3D enough, but it'd help to like U2. Some of their songs annoy me too. My favorite song is Ultraviolet, so I do like their music. cfs
