Thanks for posting this Starbrand, but I thought it made more sense to be in the Online Auctions and Comic Conditions category, so i moved it. Hope you dont mind. What records show you that this is the #1 ebay comic merchant?

Thanks for posting this Starbrand, but I thought it made more sense to be in the Online Auctions and Comic Conditions category, so i moved it. Hope you dont mind. What records show you that this is the #1 ebay comic merchant? They're the number 1 new comic seller, not comic merchant, on eBay. I would guess mycomicshop or milehigh may sell the most total comics on eBay, though someone else may have a better guess on that. I've watched the new comic market relatively closely on eBay for years, and I'd say horizon is number 1 by a good margin for new comic sales on eBay. Their two chief competitors are linked below. I'd like to know who the other sellers are that top any of these three sellers in terms of selling new comics for total units or revenue on eBay. Really, no one is even attempting to sell anywhere close to a full line of new comics on eBay except these three in terms of capturing market share. A few other sellers may be selling a pretty full line of new comics there, but the quantities they're offering, their price points, and/or their shipping strategies show they're not competing for market share with these big three. It was interesting to watch horizon come out of nowhere to be such a large presence. shop.ebay.com/merchant/thecargoholdshop.ebay.com/merchant/wantedcomixshop.ebay.com/merchant/horizoncomics

The new comic market seems like such a crapshoot. I would love to keep up on stuff like this, but I dont have the resources and time. Thats why I like it when you report stuff of this nature because it makes my site better and it keeps us informed of your findings.
I generally wouldnt think of ebay for new comics unless I missed a new comic and just had to have it and couldnt find it nowhere. But usually if I miss something new. I forget about it and wait until I see it cheap way down the road.
