Yeah, besides being pure exploitation, I think overall, its good publicity for comics.

I was able to get my hands on one copy yesturday. It was the regular cover edition. Sold it for $25

This book is important because, like Amazing Spider-Man #36, it represents a moment in American history that future generations will look back upon and reflect on how far we have come as a society. It's just that good in my honest opinion. I believed in it so much that I have ran out and bought a CGC 9.8 copy to be placed next to my #36. Those are the only "key" spidey issues I have past Ultimate Spider-Man in 2000. (Although I've been thinking about 700 because I just see this book becoming huge not only due to direction change for the characters, even if its short lived, but the cover is pretty awesome and I think destined to be a classic).
