The Obama cover is just about as hot as Cap 25 when it hit. I remember getting over 100.00 a copy on Cap 25, though. I haven't seen anything like that yet on this comic. Now that I think about it, Cap 35 didn't really start surging until the day it hit the racks, and could be had for about 5-8.00 ea the morning it hit. Spider-Man 583 is arguably hotter, as it won't hit the racks for 5 more days and is already surging big time. I just bought 20 Obama covers at 20.00 ea.

Although Spider-Man 583 is 6 days away, I've received word it's a complete sell-out and the second print is already in the Diamond system.

I'm thinking of selling my regular Obama comic by IDW from a few months ago for the Inauguration. I remember seeing some good prices on it when he won the election. Do you guys think it will hold up for the Inauguration? That Spidey book is insane. No other presidential appearance in a comic has ever been worth Jack.

I haven't been watching that comic lately, but I think it should get hot during the inauguration. One seller, thecargohold, sold 50 copies of the Obama variant in less than 12 hours at 19.99 ea. This is definately the hottest modern comic I've ever seen on eBay before its' release, by far, and I've been watching modern comics on eBay since 1997. Back then eBay actually listed how many items in total eBay had for sale on its' homepage.
