Not that I ever collected it, but I do have a few issues and I think the neat thing about it is you can tell how old the mag is not by looking at the date, but by the satire they choose to do. Mad magazine is dropping from a monthly to a quarterly title. Although it makes sense and is probably deserved. It's just another sign of the times. And also a part of DC's layoffs. I love the internet and how easy it makes all kinds of info to come to you and most of it free. But one thing I hate is seeing print media taking a beating over it. I fear this is just the beginning and sights like this will become more and more commonplace as the months and years go by. artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/01/23/sad-news-for-mad-fans/

As far as I can tell, comic shops don't generally order it.

I usually see them at a 7-11s, drugstores or maybe a grocery store. Yeah, rarely at comic stores. It obviously doesn't sell like it did when I was a kid. Even then, I wouldn't say it sold great. But there was a time there was a lot of those type of magazines out. Mad, Crazy, Cracked. I know there was one or two more also. They are all gone now. Mad was always the leader. It's probably only a matter of time before they fold completely. It's no big loss to the comics world, but I feel this is just the beginning.

I wished DC would fire DiBio for his piss poor handling of the DCU.
