DANGER: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This hole in the wall store is terrible. Amazingly he has been able to stay in business as long as he has. One of the original dealers in Richmond and you wouldn't be able to tell it.
Once you find your way into his shop you will be amazed how tight it is in there. Then you will be more amazed that for being so tight it's full of shit. His store is maybe 20' x 20' in size. He does not carry a lot of Indy stuff. Mostly Marvel and DC.
Back issues - To find a back issue you HAVE to go to counter and tell them what you are looking for. Then they have to go scrounge around for it. They have NO back issue boxes for you to look at. This is a major downer for me. I know when I am looking for something other things come to mind when I come accross things. He doesn't get that at all. You actually have to give him a list. I don't like that method. And he will get mad if you don't buy what he pulls out for you. Sometimes he won't even bring out what you asked for and tries to give you something else!
Also, he doesn't know anything about Indy stuff. I have learned this first hand. This might be why he doesn't carry it in his store.
In order to have a pull box you got to put money down on it. I never heard of such a thing. The discount is really low I heard as well.
Tight store with nothing going for it. A pull box you got to pay for. And bad customer service skills. I say skip it!

Wow! Going to someone with a list as the only way to see what he has sounds retarded! I cannot see how a comic store could stay in business this way! I don't want you picking out my comics. And if you do, I don't want to feel OBLIGATED to buy just because you went digging for them! That's amazing! And a great story too!
