I have been to this store now three times in the past few months. Every time I go there I end up walking out with a lot of books. I don't know how he does it but he always has a bunch of stuff I just want. The only problem with the selection is he has more I want than I have money for at any one time. The prices are kept low. Most of the comics are in very nice condition. Mostly modern age books. I did get to go through a nice box of silver/bronze age books. I think you would have liked these books Tommy. It was all Marvel.
The store is clean and has good lighting. There is a lot of space to move. The boxes of books are not too tight but are always full.
He has a bunch of action figures. From older Joes to the more modern DC Direct ect
Ed always greets his customers with a smile and is always helpful. He knows a lot of the other dealers here in VA. You can talk to him about a store and he knows who and what you are talking about.
The only problem with the store is the parking. There are maybe 15-20 spots to park and some of that is used by a restaurant next door.
I recommend this store to everyone.

There is a lot of space to move. The boxes of books are not too tight but are always full. Don't think of me as a Marvel only guy Az, you know I like a little bit of all comics. I'm the type that hates not owning a particular segment of comics, even if its just one issue. I need to say I have something. The comment you made about boxes is something Ive thought many times going through comic boxes. I absolutely HATE with a passion going through boxes so jammed tight full that you'll either cramp your fingers looking through them or you just have to take a stack out so you can wade through it. Sometimes its enough to make me think "why bother, its not worth it" and walk away. Sometimes it truly is the little things that are big in comic stores and making your boxes customer friendly is a big deal to me. I also hate when boxes are only half full and as you look through them they all want to fall over and you constantly have to keep standing the books upright. Realizing that all boxes cannot be full, I give kudos to the dealers who realize this and place things in their boxes like foam to keep the boxes feeling full and the books remaining upright. Not only does it make for a better shopping experience, it also protects the books. How many times have I waded through a half full, always falling box and found a book I wanted only to see stress marks halfway down its spine looking like it came from the falls because that is where all the books seemed to be getting their strain. It's just the little things in comic stores that make it worth return visits. Im absolutely sure if I owned a store, I would try and make sure my boxes were free standing and not too tight. That could be accomplished once ever few days. I would think stores would have some kind of checklist of things to do and this would just be one of them.

I know your not all about Marvel but I think you would have liked what he had. A lot of Capt America, X-Men and F4. The X-Men issues included #96 or 97. All were in higher grade.

I know dude, but you're right, I do love that kind of stuff! Its that kind of stuff that has been my bread and butter over the years. I just think Ive tried to expand more and more. Especially over the last 4 or 5 years.
