Marvel's getting ready to celebrate their 70th anniversary and Wolverine's 35th. I guess this is the magic year that Wolverine's been around for half of Marvel's existence.

Ive seen some of the covers for the 70th anniversary books. I must say, I was underwhelmed by the way the covers looked.
As for Wolverine, when I started collecting comics in 1978, he was like my favorite character, but his character was only 4 years old at that point and he was just growing into a star and wasn't there yet. By time we got to the 90's, he seemed to be one of the most overused and played out characters that I hardly get too interested in him anymore. It's a shame to me, because I think he works better as a character who isn't the most popular one out there.
