Thor is also really been good. J.M. Strazynski brought the book back and really changed the dynamic of it. Currently King Thor is exiled from Asgard and Balder is now King and Asgard has been moved to LAtveria Where Loki has been giving his people to Doom so he can vivesect them to learn how they work.
Plus Seige is starting and that looks to be a bang up story.

That's a stretch, but I guess it work. You've got me worried that Dr Doom will be in the upcoming Thor movie.

This is a good book. I recently read the first two hardcovers. In fact I read them in 3 days time. Really good stuff.

To be honest, it doesn't sound like a good concept to me, but I do trust Strazynski.

JMS does not write the book anymore. He is at DC now. Keiron Gillen writes it. Seige is a Big storyline that is the culmination of all of the stuff Bendis has been doing for years. When Strazynski brought the Asgardians back after the last Raganrock, Thor moved Asgard to Earth, where it is floating 10 feet above the ground in Oklahoma. Loki has been doing his usual things and Thor was exiled and Balder was made king. Then Asgard was moved to the Mountains of LAtveria where Doom with help from the evil Loki starts doing the stuff I mentioned.
This is probably the best that Thor has been in many years.
And no, Doom will not be in the Thor film.

I picked up a couple of Thor's around a month ago and they were really well done. The story and art was excellent, but I think it was the very end of Siege. Not 100% sure. Anyway, it looked like things were changing and I haven't picked up a new one since because I was thinking I may have missed out. But I had been noticing that Thor's were looking better than they have in a long time and when I tested it out, I was surprised how well made it was.

the Thor stories are taking an Interesting turn. I read Avengers Prime yesterday and they focused on an Interesting bit regarding Thor putting Asgard in Oklahoma. On Earth which has thrown the entire balance of the 9 worlds out of whack and now Hela is in the position of power and Thor, Cap and Iron Man are trapped in Hel along with everyone else.
Thor is rocking these days.

Just seen that Loki is going to be bisexual and will be cross gendered from time to time.
On Facebook the response was mixed. Id say well over half hated it and were disgusted by it. The other half thought it made perfect sense since he is the Lord of Deception. And called everyone homophobes.
Count me with the former disgusted group who think todays creators continue to make a mockery of the craft of comics.
Loki with a lisp and tits. My my....

Nothing surprises me. It's bad enough that comics appeal primarily to males over 40. Let's shrink that demographic even more and have them appeal only to transvestite males over 40.
