While I wasn't around to enjoy many of his comics and what little of his comics work I have seen I always liked and wanted to see more. What I know for Russ Heath for is in animation namely his character designs for G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero which I still believe are the best in the franchise's history.

Great addition to the creator area!!! I've always wanted to own this comic and I've never even seen it in person, but every time I see a picture of it, it looks cool. They just don't make covers like this anymore! I checked out his website... www.russheath.com/It had a quote I never knew about Russ Heath and seen it a million times. A couple of his commercial art pieces, depicting Roman and Revolutionary War battle scenes for toy soldier sets, became highly familiar bits of Americana, being printed on the back covers of comic books from the early '60s to the early '70s.He's the guy that drew all the ads for this stuff!
