I saw recently that sometime after Second Coming. That the X-Men are gonna be dealing with Vampires. I think that when this event does happen, the third Twilight film will be coming to Theaters too. Think this is a coincidence or just something Marvel's been wanting to do despite the whole Twilight thing?

Think this is a coincidence or just something Marvel's been wanting to do despite the whole Twilight thing? My guess is: both. I know Marvel has vampires and vampire hunters in the MU (Blade, Dracula, Deacon Frost, and Morbius, the Living Vampire arguably being the most well known), so it's safe to assume that there are more than 3 vampires and one Dampier (a half-human/half-vampire which is what Blade is at least in the movies and TV show) added that vampires are cool again so yeah it makes sense for Marvel to an X-Men vs. Vampires storyline. DC has already did it with an 6-issue arc in JLA (IIRC it's #101-107) written by Chris Claremont, penciled by John Byrne and inked by Terry Austin and more recently Kevin Van Hooks wrote Superman and Batman vs. Vampires and Werewolves mini-series and there are plans for a sequel.

I might have to look up that Superman/Batman versus Werewolves and Vampires. Looks like it'd be a good read.
