I watched this stinker again on HBO recently. IT was unredeemable. Just pure suckage.
I want to punch Nolan in the neck.
It was indeed a pure shit Batman movie. I was especially disappointed because I actually thought the previous Batman movie was pretty sweet.
I didn't like either. The one with Heath Ledger should have stopped about half way. When it went into dealing with Two-Face I just kept thinking "why in the hell is this movie still playing?"
I caught the last 3/4ths of the last movie on cable. It truly did suck.
The thing that bothered me most was the weapon. At one point they say that if the core is removed to the fusion reactor that they'll be dealing with a Neutron bomb. Well, a fusion reactor runs off of WATER. It fuses smaller atoms into larger ones and releases energy in the process. It's the process going on in the Sun. A Neutron bomb breaks down larger atoms releasing sub-atomic radioactive particles that will kill you through exposure. The blast is relatively small on a Neutron bomb. You aren't going to get that if WATER is your fuel. Later in the movie it's called an Atom bomb. An Atom bomb has a large blast and less radiation thana Neutron bomb. The writers had no clue what the weapon even was. I just wanted them to shut up.
Batman climbs 3/4th of the way up a wall with free-hand climbing, then can't get the rest of the way out because he can't jump? Why the hell didn't he free-hand climb the rest of the way out? It was just stupid.
DC just has shitty writers for their movies and the characters were always crappier anyway.
What the hell happens to his voice? He sounds stupid. I couldn't even understand half of what Bane was saying and didn't care.
Not one person in the movie had a clue about how to handle someone with a back injury. My mom dealt with back injuries as a nurse. Even she commented about how stupid it was.
I just felt like you needed a low IQ to be entertained.
