Thanks Leon! That's great! ;D Now I can get a visual of who is where. The standings they showed was clear. I like that they put team logos next to their standings. Perhaps I will become more familar with it this way. But I dont want you to stop adding color to what is happening. You're the story behind the standings. Of course, if you wanted to use the rest of my message board too....all the better! (I'm still trying to sell it to everybody). Ive been talking to my friend who is the Manchester United fan and he is discussing maybe coming over here and chatting with you. He just doesnt want to get into a flame war or anything. He says he has seen other boards with fanatics and getting too deep into it. I told him you were cool. Anyway, thanks for the link!

No flame war, but I'll throw facts at him! No flame wars, I promise! Now, since your friend is a Man Utd fan, you need a team - and I humbly suggest Liverpool.

Hey, I dont know these teams from anything. I dont even have a cable channel where they are even on. My friend pays extra on his cable package to see them. He subscribes to the soccer channel. The only thing I have to go on right now is who's logo or name I like the best. I mean, I like Liverpool because of the Beatles. After that....uh....Hey, at least that is 1 reason to like Liverpool. But, Im currently undecided

The Beatles is a very good starting point for making this decision.
Yesterday was the 800 anniversay of the city of Liverpool. That is a nother reason.
They are not Manchester United - always the best reason.
It gives you a talking point with your United supporting friend.
They are not Manchester United - always the best reason.
They are the most successful team in Britain, more evn than Manchester United, and their fanbase is worldwide. I am half-Finnish and I am proud they have a Finn playing for them.
They are not Manchester United - always the best reason.
If you were to support any two European teams I would have to firmly suggest Liverpool or Barcelona, purely on heritage (although Barcelona are way less successful).

Allow me to formally introduce myself. gowaltrip has been trying to get me on-board for a while now. I think the addition of a football forum finally did me in. I am a big fan of the EPL over all other leagues and I do have a few favorite teams. My number one of course is "Man U....glory glory" but I also do like Liverpool too they're my second favorite(Even have a Liverpool shirt to prove it) When it comes to international teams Brazil and England are my favorites. Looking forward to the England Euro qualifiers in September. I'd like to send a shout out overseas there to Mr Mallet, looking forward to your post about news and other information about the leagues from over there as we don't get too much over here. Now and again I try to catch "Sky sports news" don't quote me on that name but it's like a soccer update show that is on Fox Soccer Channel. It appears to be a show from over that way. Also for Leon - I noticed you been trying to sway gowaltrip over to Liverpool's way......just a little history on him. He don't like the big teams....he always go for the underdogs. You might have better luck making him a Sunderland or Derby fan. ;D

Hats off to Liverpool. They were monsters today. That game was not shown on FSC but I seen the highlights. I think the championship this year is between 3 teams. Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool.
