I know it may not be some people's tastes. I won't say it is really all that much mine. But I know I have read it countless times over the years and generally enjoyed it.
The "For Better or Worse" comic strip is coming to an end this Sunday after 29 years of continually aging print. In some ways that was kind of cool because characters grew up and got older as the strip kept going. Even the dog died.
Sure the strip and story is drawn by a woman, but I always thought it was done rather well displaying more art talent than a lot of her competition.
I will admit the older the kids and everybody got, the lamer the stories and my interest has waned in it. Its obviously time.
But, the strip will continue with a reprinting from the beginning with reworks by the artist to what she feels would have made it better. Maybe it will be good to see the kids young again when I thought the strip was its funniest. Even the dog will live again.
Either way, if you liked it or not.....its been a good run.
