Observations from the Admin

Not real sure yet but I know its something hardware and fatal. It wasn't like I didnt know the end was near. It's six years old and I have been experiencing my screen getting fuzzy. I troubleshoot that it was electrical related. I could switch cords and outlets and it would clear up for a few days and then come back. It came back yesterday morning and I decided when I got home I was going to move cords around and put my pc on its own dedicated outlet. This wasn't as easy as it sounds as I have a lot of devices, power strips and cords and not but two nearby outlets. I finally get everything proper and now have my pc on a dedicated outlet by itself. I hit the power button and heard things start powering on and then Poof. Dead. Power light on front of pc flashing. I have a background in troubleshooting so I went after everything I possibly could and tried other setups but no success. I've opened it up but nothing looks obvious. If I unplug it for a long period of time I can get it to try and come on again, but it doesn't make it one second and its oft again and totally dead. No response to power or anything

Sure I could troubleshoot it replace things and maybe get it going again, but its time to get a new one. It could be the power supply or something else that I can try replacing but I'm not going to waste time or money on it. It's time. It was a cheap pc when I got it. It's not worth it to prolong my pain. I'm gonna get a new one. I sold some of my stocks today to free up some money. I want something new. This is just the push I needed. I'm dying for a big screen monitor. The one I have now is a little 15 inch that sucks. Even if I could fix this one, I'm just ready for a new one. Just waiting to get it sucks. I'm jonesing to get on the computer and it took me like 15 minutes to type this on my phone. People that text all day need a life. I could have typed this in about one minute on a real computer. I type for a living and have for the last 15 year. I could type a book faster than I can talk. Damn, I miss having a computer.

Well, other than spending the money, this has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm sitting here writing my first message on the board on my new pc with a whopping huge 25 inch monitor!!!! OMG I am in geek heaven! Its amazing how much better things look on this thing.

Anyway, I'm back in business and styling too so this all ended up for the best I guess.

Soon as I get this room clean, I'll do it. Getting a new computer will wreck a room let me tell you. First you got to get the old one out and then you have to put the new on in. You have to move a bunch of stuff around and the room is filled with empty boxes and trash. Its my goal to get the room back in order today. Once I do, I get a pic up of your site on my pc. Damn dude, this monitor is huge! I love it! Its like having a big screen tv for a pc. I haven't gotten used to it yet, but I love it.

Can you do me a favor bro? The link at the top of the page for "Website" is gone. If I had to guess, I would say someone emptied their photobucket account and the picture of the button went with it. If we ever get it back I'll put it in my photobucket. I never delete the stuff I need for this board. If we could get that button back, I'd appreciate it.
