Cool! As requested, here is what your message board header looks like on my monitor. I typically surf the net with the lights out. Just a preference. For reference, that object on the left side is a 20 oz Mountain Dew bottle. I fucking love this monitor!!!! One observation looking at your site like this. I think you need to make your page header logo MUCH bigger. The biggest thing on this screen shot is an advertisement. I think it should be easier to see that they are on your message board. Just my 2 cents. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the picture.

I wasn't sure how the transition would be. I've been running XP for years and was quite comfortable with it. I knew Vista sucked and was a pain because my parents have that and every time I went to their house and messed with their computer, it was a pain to work with it. I've done lots of tech support with Windows 7 customers and just talking to customers it seemed decent. Now that I actually have it, it feels very easy and intuitive to use. I like it. Everything always seems right there where you need it. I don't feel like I dig around the pc for anything. Its all like an icon away. Its pretty nice in my book.

I've added Heritage Comic Auctions to the Quick Link Menu.
If anyone thinks there is a beneficial link that can be added to the menu, let me know.

Me and the wife and kids are off for a few days to Myrtle Beach, SC for some well deserved R&R! Can't wait to get there! I must say this is the first time in my life I didn't feel like I was about to go apeshit on someone and really NEEDED a vacation. It feels much different to have a job I actually love! Almost felt guilty not going in today. 1st day I haven't went to work since I've been there. I don't know who all was here and remembers back in Oct 08 when I quit my very well paying job of 11 years when our nation was on the verge of a crippling recession. I spent the next 15 months unemployed and using up all my life's resources. Been through a lot of bad experiences since then but I wanted to find a better way a life. That meant mentally.....I wanted a better frame of mind. Well, life ain't perfect and I still have a lot to worry about but for the time being I am thankful and I am happy and I'm going on a vacation with the feeling like I didn't really need to go on it. It's a good feeling. Anyway, I'll only have my trusty smartphone to check in on this place so if you see a few more typos than normal, you'll know why! Anyway, hope to see you guys at the Crack while I'm sunning it up!

After a 2 year hiatus, I'm in the process of signing back up for school again. I'm switching schools to the local college and slightly adjusting my major. It feels good to be getting back into school. I had to leave when I was working at my previous job and working from 11am - 10pm with an hr drive each way. It was killing me and it was killing my schoolwork as well. How's this for a strange twist? Apparently my job was faced with cutting medical benefits and raising costs to continue coverage. This is rather unfortunate but certainly a sign of the times. What's ironic is most companies would have just left you high and dry and said tough, deal with it. I further need to admit that this has NO effect on me because I am on my wife's coverage from her job. So I'm not affected. However, the company must have been worried about backlash so in order to help us cope with this they went from giving me 3 weeks paid off this year to 5 weeks paid off in 2012! Woah! I have only been with this company 9 months and I am eligible for 5 weeks paid off? Plus all the other banker's holidays that banks get? Talk about a win-win for me. I'm not affected by the rise in cost of the medical and I'm given 2 extra weeks vacation going forward! My wife is a manager at her job and only warrants 2 weeks a year at her job. I feel very fortunate.

It's that time of year again fellas! Would appreciate your thoughts and inputs on the Best and Worst section of 2011. I've revamped that section to be more streamlined by year. Would recommend you look at some of your previous responses in earlier years to remember how you felt, especially on threads that talked about your goals for the upcoming years. Did your goals work out or did you get totally sidetracked? The fun of doing this is when another year passes and seeing what you put the year before and relating it to who you are now. Really looking forward to this years responses!!!
