I didn't even know this was happening. Here it is like 2 weeks away from coming out and I havent heard any buzz about it. Me personally, watching the trailer, I don't get any warm fuzzies from it. Looks kind of mindless to me.

This film gets a bad rap that is undeserved. I don't know what people really expect from a film about a psychotic murderous vigilantie that has gone beyond simple revenge.
That said, I feel this is the best version of the Punisher you could hope for.
Its brutal.
I did feel that Jigsaw was over the top though

That said, I feel this is the best version of the Punisher you could hope for. Its brutal. I did feel that Jigsaw was over the top though I think they went with a campy feel to tone down all the disturbing scenes. I think the movie get criticized unfairly also. The supporting cast should have been just as serious as he was. The movie had some problem, but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Defiant1 |
