I know they have a few locations so I am not entirely sure which one I hit. I know it was upstairs above some other place. I also know I was in Midtown. The only reason I knew I was even close to the store is because I seen a Midtown sign. Anyways...
I was expecting one of the greatest stores ever. I was let down by this one though. They had plenty of new issues and back stock. but the prices for everything was SO HIGH! But as others said if you're willing to spend $10 on a happy meal in NY...
They had a nice layout. It wasn't over cramped. I don't know how people would find parking. I took a train into the city.
I wish I had another store in NY to compare with it so I can give a better determination of where I would go.
Just remember the prices are high and probably not too many deals to be found.

This is a store Ive heard of. Well, I think most people have. Im pretty sure they have an add in the Price Guide. I would imagine they are one of the big boys in terms of comics dealers.
I know when I look through the price guide and see all those big adds by the big sellers, I always wish I could take a road trip and go to these stores. I always picture them being more awesome than they are here, but I guess that is not always the case.
I remember when I was young, around 14-15 years old, so this is really a long time ago. I remember my family went to Boston to visit relatives. And me and my cousin went into town and stopped off at this HUGE comic store in downtown. I mean it was HUGE! I have no idea what the name of it was or anything, but I do know it was where all the sky scrapers were and this comic store was so huge that I didn't even get to skim the whole store. It had both an upstairs and a downstairs. And both floors were like bigger than any store around here. It was crazy! I don't think Ive ever seen a store that big since.
But sometimes, thats the kind of things I think of when I think road trip. I think, what comic stores are going to be in the area? Nothing like seeing comics somewhere else. Because it always seems like other stores away from you have what your local stores dont.
BTW, I can see that about the prices in NY City. I would imagine $10 up there is like $5 down here.
