Maybe my 1st exposure to comic books was in the 1st and 2nd grade. I remember every day during school, we had to watch like an hour of PBS, sometimes longer. The Electric Company was always the standard show to watch. I think the teachers liked it because it gave them a break.
I remember many skits back then, but I distinctly remember the Spider-Man skits. I remember when the theme song would come on a bunch of 6 year old kids would get out of their seats and start dancing to the Groovy Spider-Man theme song. It seemed to be the one skit we would all pay attention to.
In this episode, A white furry monster sticks things up its ass and Spidey saves the day!

A personal favorite of mine was Letterman!
Didn't know it at the time, but Joan Rivers was a hell of a story-teller. And dammit, I couldn't help but like the evil Spellbinder too!
Didn't realize how gay Gene Wilder was as Letterman. But back in the day, this was one of the highlights of the day!

I may not have been a singing fool for the Spider-man skits, although I did enjoy them, I absolutely would jump out of my seat and sing and dance to my all-time favorite Electric Company tune....
T-I-O-N
TION, TION, TION, TION !!!
I'm sure the girls in the class loved the way I sang along to it!
