Although I can think of worse possibilities, I think there is a lot not to like here. For instance, since when did Wonder Woman wear black pantyhose? And since when did Wonder Woman have so much "cheese"? Maybe this can be Wonder-Woman after she becomes a Hollywood party slut with too many people doing things like wiping her butt for her. Oh don't get me wrong, she's not bad looking and doesn't look bad as Wonder Woman, but when looking at it from a comic purist front, I just don't think she would be a good fit. I like meaty, but I like tone meaty. Not needing some treadmill action meaty. I still think no one will ever top Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.

I'm not impressed at all. With gobs of make-up, she'll definitely catch the eye, but my mind peels that off and I don't see anything deeper to her. She doesn't look fit. She has a huge caboose. She doesn't project confidence. A pouty Wonder Woman is a bad choice in my opinion. I'm not saying she has to be a body builder, but I don't want to look at Wonder Woman with the thought that she'll pull out her cell phone any minute and use it to start whining about something.

Aw hell naw! Forget that fat ass. Nope, never happen. Here is who I always felt would be a great Wonder Woman. screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/claudia-black.jpgClaudia Black. She used to be on Farscape and is a solid Actress. She is believable in action also. You may have seen her in the movie Pitch Black also. The reson I think she is right, is that she sort of looks Greek which would be the historical lineage of WW and also her accent gives her an exotic appeal. she is probably to old now but still looks the part.

Perhaps a more realistic build, but I'd rather look at someone prettier if I'm going to sit through a 2 hour movie.

Wonder Woman is not about beauty. And Claudia does look good. Have you ever watched Stargate SG1? She played Vala on that. Of coure I also think Ben Browder would be a good Hal Jordan.

I'm accused of having high standards and only liking 10's. The last two girls I've dated are magazine models. I don't really find her attractive. The one girl I see now has done martial arts for years and she doesn't have bulging muscles. She's toned without the bulked muscles. Women naturally have sleek muscles and that's one of the anatomical differences between the sexes. I have no interest at all in reading a comic or seeing a movie about masculine looking (bulked) women. Zero... so in that sense the looks have a lot to do with how successful it will be. I know other people feel the same way I do. Your interpretation of Wonder Woman is along the lines of how Adam Hughes envisions her. I don't have any interest in his version. Is it more believable? Possibly. I grew up with Linda Carter and she was a real woman. That's along the lines of what I'd want to see. Defiant1

Yeah I grew up with Linda Carter myself. I just cannot look at someone who is not even tone or remotely athletic looking play the character. Claudia is a good looking woman. She is not muscular either. she is athletic and she can be beleivable in action. There are plenty of images of her where she looks very good.
But to me a soft -hot- chick would amount to the same thing as making Charlie Sheen's Ex Wife a Nuclear physicist in a James Bond flick. Remember that?
That pic of Claudia that I liked is currently being transformed into Wonder Woman through the magic of the computer.
Alex Ross also makes her look like she has some Strength.
