This trailer has really lifted things up for me. It is just filled with so much badassery that my head may explode. Check it out and share your thoughts.

I thought it was pretty sweet. I won't see it until it comes out on Netflix. Should be by Xmas. By then everyone will have said if it was good or not. Looks promising!

so the film premiered in Australia, and many critics were in attendance who have been posting their reviews. pretty much everyone is saying that its Marvels best film both in story and action, as well as in proper world building. Including the wider Marvel Universe. Hemsworth nails it apparently, and Loki is a truly memorable villain. This fills me with warmth knowing Thor is done right. That, or its the Captain and Coke I am drinking out of my cool 3D collectable Thor cup from 7/11

I'm starting to think Captain America will be the dud. It looks terrible. df1

I went and saw this yesterday and I have got to say this...
KIRBY WOULD BE PROUD!
THis was a truly solid effort. a good balance of action and adventure with a lot of heart. All of the actors did a great job, especially Hemsworth as Thor (They couldn't have done better) and Hiddleson as Loki. Possibly Oscar worthy. The balance between what happens on Earth and what happens on Asgard is handled very, very well. You will see Thor using all of his powers and just kicking major ass. Like when he is pummling the entire population of Jotumheim, the home of the Frost Giants.
This was equal to if not a little better than the first Iron Man. Go see it. Take your woman, there is a lot for them to enjoy also.
This one more than the others, is really a BIG SCREEN movie.
3D is not needed.

Glad to hear it was pretty awesome.
I'll probably wait until it comes to Netflix.

I hear ya Tom, but this one more than the others is really worth the money to see. It really demands the big screen just to house all of the Asgardian stuff.

Spoiler Warning! I went and saw this yesterday and I have got to say this... KIRBY WOULD BE PROUD! THis was a truly solid effort. a good balance of action and adventure with a lot of heart. Take your woman, there is a lot for them to enjoy also. This one more than the others, is really a BIG SCREEN movie. 3D is not needed. The 3D has really improved on the movies. The Captain America Trailer was 10 times more interesting in 3D. Unfortunately watching a whole movie in 3D strains my eyes too much and they were watery and everything blurry by the end of Thor. That being said, this was a full tribute to Kirby and they kept very true to the images from the comic. I loved the rainbow bridge at the end. I loved seeing Loki on the throne in his classic pose. It easily deserves an 8 on a scale of 1-10. I rarely give anything 9 or 10, so that is an achievement. I fully expected this movie to be a dud and was pleasantly surprised. I loved seeing Hawkeye and the cosmic cube. The stage is fully set for the Avengers movie. I'm just wondering if the Cosmic Cube will be dealt in the Captain America movie. df1
