Wow C, nice book! Im jealous! I love to own stuff like this but I dont splurge very often. Im trying to do it more, but life dictates often when I can afford to spend extra on a comic and its not too often. But, that is certainly a nice piece. One I dont believe I have personally ever seen. Awesome dude! Keep them coming!

I've wanted this ever since Lon Webb had one at Dark Adventure. I thought "wow" when I saw it then and I've never seen one since until I ordered it online.

Nice Pickup!
The top one looks like it came from Mad. Ive seen that artist a lot of times. Kind of makes me think what is wrong with me, when you can do 3 panels and get good pay for it.
The bottom one, I have never seen before and have no idea whats up with it. It looks like a unique. You might want to explain it a little if you would like.

The art is late 80's Dave Berg art which was indeed published in MAD magazine. I thought this was neat because the male character in the strip is none other than Bill Gaines and that looks like a little "Tales From the Crypt" homage on the wall. It looks like a cemetery. I know almost nothing about Glamourpuss other than it's a new Dave Sim comic. I bought this for an escalated price because I thought it was interesting. It was signed by Dave Sim and personalized to the store where I got it and marked #1/1 as their store edition. The bag it was in had a label and the label was personalized to the store owner himself. So it was a signed limited edition comic given to a store owner directly. At cpg Argus discovered for me that it's limited to 250 copies. Evidently it's a comic about the fashion industry. I'll have to buy a regular edition when it's released to see the insides. I don't want to read this one. The art was very well done from the glance I did inside. cfs

I had a slight experience today. After working all day I arrived home to see a box on my front steps. Usually this is a good thing. Although I still wasnt expecting my comics to arrive, I thought just maybe it was here. I got up to the box and it was indeed from DCBS. Oh boy! My comics have arrived. Im excited! I rush in the door and open the box only to find the issue of Previews I ordered. The rest of the comics were listed on a piece of paper with the status of waiting to be filled. I felt good and bad about this. I felt bad that I havent received my comics yet and I was psyched out about it. On the other hand, I wasnt expecting them for like another month, so it wasnt like they should have been arriving. Furthermore, I found it pretty cool that even though they basically had none of the rest of my order, they went ahead and shipped me a Previews all by itself. I was happy about that. Knowing the deadline to fill orders for March was fast approaching. I logged on tonight to maybe finish up. I had worked on creating a list and had been back a few times and updated it. But lo and behold, I log on now and everything in my cart is gone! I guess they have a time limit that they will hold things in your cart. This pissed me off. Damn, Now I got to do it all again! Shit...well, not tonight. Im too damn tired. Maybe tomorrow or over the weekend. Im taking Monday and Tuesday off. So, I should be able to get it done. But damn....Ive got to go through all those books again and choose again.... So, both a good and bad day for DCBS in my book.

Bought this yesterday. I'm told there are only 250 Gold versions... I have the non-gold edition.
