I first met him years ago on the show circuit, and I always spent money with him! Like you said,he buys out stores and comes across huge collections. Everytime I'd see him set up,it was with all-new stock. Unfortunately the shows have all but dried up around here, and I'll only see him now once a year probably in Charlotte at the Heroes Con. He's the dealer's dealer. He's seen so much stuff it's unbelievable. I can always bounce a few topics off him and find out stuff I didn't know. defiant1 Joey did this guy ever show up at Richmond with tons of new stuff? I kind of remember you buying tons of stuff off a guy in Richmond who was right where you walked into the convention room on the right. You spent a good part of the morning talking and dealing with him....Is this him?

He was the tall guy with black hair.Earl is a big guy too, about 6 3" with light colored hair. Earl used to have mostly cheap boxes..$1,$2,etc.,and a wall of books.

Im remembering Ed Sanderson I guess. He had tons of $1 - $5 books. I remember you buying a crapload of them and standing there talking to him a lot. He looked like he couldnt stop raking in dollar bills while you were talking to him. I dont remember much about him except tall, black hair and lots of cheap books with some good books back where he was.

My favorite deal with him was trading a Mad #9 for Psychoanalysis #1-#5. I was hoping to find one issue at the show and got all 5. I wasn't really a fan of the Mad comic. cfs

The guy has a knack for picking up collections all the time. He's the guy I bought the "Fredericksburg Collection" from 2 years ago. I've gotten atleast 1500 CGC 9.8 70's-early '90's books out of that stuff! And still submitting stuff from it! That was one of those every 20 years deals!

A very eclectic group of books you got there C...
I tend to like the Wally Woods the best. The Atlas magazines are cool if you are an extreme completist, but I wouldnt think I would be after them unless I was nearing completion of the comics. Anyway, a unique find nonetheless. No mainstream or high dollar books?
