No opinion. They interested me, but the catered towards a hot babe look and I've got enough of hat crap which I never read. cfs You called it crap. Again, people can't read. I called the "hot babe" comic genre crap. By releasing Snake Woman with posed sexy covers, they are catering to fans of a genre which is for the most part utter crap. Not all "hot babe" comics are crap. I was a big fan of Broadway's Fatale and as many people know I am/was a fan of Sinnamon. I still exchange about 10 emails a week with the writer of Sinnamon. As I've clearly said, I have no opinion about the quality of Virgin Comics. It does not make an impression deep enough for me to want to buy them. If others like them, then I'm indifferent to it. I think they have failed at marketing the comic and if they don't change that marketing angle the whole company will go under. They'll fail just like a 100 other companies before them. I'd be willing to bet none of their titles are selling over 8,000 copies. The printing options they choose are expensive. I think it's a safe bet they are losing money everytime they go to press. cfs

I see a problem with people not understanding nouns, verbs and basic sentence structure. That's fine. Hot babe and bad girls are synonymous in my opinion. If I led you to think differently or that it matters at all... I apologize. The company will be out of business within three years and nothing I say further on this subject will make a difference. I'm nodding out of reponses on this topic. You can start with the threads of blissful praise now. cfs

I don't know if has been touched on but they went under. I know IDW picked up a few things they were publishing. The "moment" you hear this kind of stuff its a sudden shock to here "done". But thinking about it as a whole, its not a shock at all. It almost seems telling when new comic companies with (I would assume) serious backing fail. I think its just another state of this market. I keep wondering how many comic companies will be around in 5 years? Are the days of seeing new ones pop up becoming a thing of the past especially with Diamond playing hard ball with minor leaguers? I guess since they only existed but so long, it wouldnt be that hard to put together a check list and even a complete collection. I wonder if they had 200 comics see print? I guess I wonder if there was a top comic from this company? A standout? A most valuable comic? A rare book? Something to snatch up from the picked over remains?
