Hey Waltrip, It was Blue and Yellow? Damn I didn't know that. I was looking at how it was shaded in the comic Frank drew.
Color wise it would still work. I was thinking that the Arms would glow yellow as his energy is building. That would still allow the blue to work well.
The visor is iffy for me also. Part of it is that the head is slightly tilted down.
I drew another image of it that was straight on. It looks better, but now that you said Ford Taurus, I cannot look at it without laughing.
Maybe I will make another go at it.
@defient1; I have many Issues of The Jack Kirby Collector, Individual and collected ones.
Regarding scripts; I write scripts. I learned how through the books Writing comics with Peter David and also The DC Comics guide to writing comics.
I also have many original scripts that I have gathered from different writers I like over the years. There ar many approaches to the craft and I have a mix of a couple.
Currently I am working from a script by James Hudnall. No photo referances, but he describes the fundamentals for each page and panel.
He leaves enough room though so I can add my own flavor to it.
The book I am doing with him is so far NOT a superhero book, so I am drawing many real world items. Traditional layout also
The comic I am working on from my script, is a web comic and the format is widescreen. It is a bit harder to layout the pages this way. Mainly because big panels can generally take up half of the page.
This comic is a horror/scifi set in the real world so again I am drawing all normal stuff.
I am only a few pages into it so far, mainly because of work lately but It looks good so far.
But If you want to talk about detailed scripts, I saw one of Alan Moores TOP 10 scripts. (I am acquainted with the Artist Gene Ha) Alan would deliver a 200 page script for a 32 page comic. The level of detail that he would provide was astonishing.
Anyhow I will eventually post a couple of pages on here.
