No art today. I am drawing Dazzler for a Artist Jam at the third rail so I will post it here. I did however get offered a comic today on facebook. Don't have many details yet, but it a horror title. More info to come. Oh GW, facebook errored out on us this morning. Yeah I know. I was trying to tell you I needed to go to work (which is where I am now) and it kept saying error. I figured you'd understand. I had to go, otherwise I would have sent a message saying FB messed up. Can't wait to hear more about this comic you'll be working on. Keep us posted and as always, show your stuff when you have some and have the time. It's good to hear things are happening!!!

UPDATE: Here is the message that I just got from the guy about the comic. So, what would you like from me? Your art or if you write also (or you and Troy, I know him) want to pitch a short for my comic. What is Tales of the Supernatural? An anthology comic where all the stories have a supernatural element. Everything from Vampires to Twilight Zone stuff to fantasy. All genres also comedy Sci Fi, action and of course Horror. Who publishes it?The set up is publish on Demand with indyplanet and a small on consignment set up with LA comic shops (and where ever else I can set it up) Who else is involved? The biggest names I have right now are Josh Finney creator of Titanium Rain for Archaia and J.K. Woodward who does every 3rd IDW title Does the project pay? A back end deal after the publishing costs are covered the rest of the money goes to the story people and the good thing about publishing on demand is that it's always there and not just shooting a load in one week I can send you a few scripts if youre interested. I have writers from all over the world He is sending the scripts and I am sending him my complete ZUDA submission and the script that I posted on here. We will see what happens. Very Cool !!! Now get to crackin!!!

Man there are some days you feel like you got a 10 foot boner. today is that day. I drew a nice picture of Dazzler this morning. Got a call from a customer who came over and put some money in my hand. Then another Customer who gets very expensive shirts done featuring my artwork on most of them, just ordered 3 and paid for them. This has been a good month. But wait, it gets better. I just checked my email and got a response from the guy I sent the stuff to. Heres his response. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For one pass the script is pretty solid my friend. I even got a chuckle out of “You like a Ford man to me”. A little noir slice with all the elements; love-sick shlub tricked into doing bad stuff for badder girl, the lighting descriptions… use of shadow, even the flashback structure. Either you’re a big fan of crime stories or you’ve done your homework to good effect.
That wardrone thing creeps me out. Even with no dialogue your sequential art tells everything just fine. I knew exactly what was going on from moment to moment nice work. The only problem is now I want you to do one of MY scripts. I have a gut feeling “Moons of Maleva” is the one for you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice capper to a good day. I mean theres really no money involved to make me quite my job for, but the fact that I am starting to get this kind of stuff lately. I even got a friend request from one of DC Comics writers today. LOL!
I will share Dazzler after I color it. Peace.

read my last post. Also, here is something new that I just did. That's sweet Mike! It almost feels like a Bryne pic. The Photoshopped background made this one pop. Great choice and appropriate.

read my last post. Also, here is something new that I just did. I wasn't trying to ignore this post, but it made me go search for a coloring tutorial that one of Neal Adams' sons had posted online. I thought you might be interested in seeing it. His kids have done coloring on quite a few comics.... especially Cory Adams, but I think it was Joel or Josh had the tutorial posted. If I can't find it online, I'll have to dig it up from a computer that's in my dad's old office. df1

I have a few different books on coloring. Blue Line Pro's coloring for Comics. And The DC comics guide to Coloring and Lettering for Comics. Dazzler there is only about the 10th thing I have ever colored in photoshop. I am trying to figure out the easiest way to color while emulating what I do with the Airbrush. I am learning as I go and the improvements are coming faster because I tend to stury the colored images in comics trying to figure out how they acheived the things they did.
but feel free to share what you find.
The reason I posted to check out my previous post, was because I was following up about the recent contact I had gotten and I was feeling pretty high on myself and wanted to share.
